Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Neurology Headache Clinic - 12/10/09

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking an NP or PA for our Headache Clinic. The primary focus of this position will be to collaboratively manage patients with chronic headache disorders with the Department of Neurology. This will include supporting the headache practice by seeing new consultations for patients with primary headache disorders, collaboratively managing follow-up headache patients using a protocol-driven treatment strategy, returning patient telephone calls, assisting the physician with management of prescription refills, and administering botulinum toxin for primary headache disorders in a structured procedural clinic.

To qualify, candidates must be a Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license (or eligible) and certification (or eligible to be certified) as a ANP, FNP, ACNP (certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment date). Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice (or eligible). Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.

Neurologist With Interest in Headache Medicine - 8/17/09

The Neurology & Headache Treatment Center (NHTC) is recruiting a Neurologist with expertise and interest in Headache Medicine to join the practice by July 1, 2010.

NHTC is a group practice comprised of four Board-Certified Neurologists and is located in Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. We also employ a Physician's Assistant and two Certified Clinical Research Coordinators. NHTC conducts Phase I-IV pharmaceutical company-sponsored clinical trials via its' sister company, The Innovative Clinical Research Center (ICRC).

Applicants must be BC/BE in Neurology and have demonstrated an ability and interest in caring for inpatients and outpatients wtih complicated headache histories. The applicant must possess excellent clinical skills and must also be team-oriented, conscientious, hard-working, and dependable.
