Neurologist/Headache Medicine - Boston, MA - February 2012

Full-time Neurologist position available in our expanding Comprehensive Headache Center within the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine.

The Center has a multi-disciplinary focus with research, clinical and integrative medicine components. We are supported by a full-time RN, coordinator and administrative assistant. Botox panel is expanding and referrals come from the greater New England area. There are conferences within both pain medicine and neurology, and a headache conference incorporating research and clinical components held monthly. This is a full-time clinical role with 7 to 8 sessions per week; one session may be procedure-based.
 
We are particularly interested in academics and opportunities exist for clinical research with internal start-up funds available. Academic appointment in the Department of Neurology at Harvard Medical School commensurate with credentials and experience. Exceptional financial package and benefits.
 
Qualified applicants must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology and will ideally have additional training in headache medicine and various treatment modalities and be certified or eligible for additional UCNS headache medicine certification, although this is not an absolute requirement. A strong interest in headache medicine is essential.

Headache Specialist - Sacramento, CA - December 2011

MCS is seeking a BE/BC Neurologist with an interest to sub-specialize in Headache medicine. A passion for Headache management is a must, fellowship training would be desirable. Call will be 1:6 with access to hospitalists 24/7 and a strong built-in referral system. All outpatient care locations have a full electronic health record and digital imaging.  Academic Headache, Clinic Director - Southern California - December 2011

The Department of Neurology at Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is seeking a board eligible/certified neurologist or internist (MD, DO, or equivalent) to serve as the Director of our Headache and Orofacial Pain Clinic. Fellowship training in Headache Medicine accredited by the United Council on Neurological Subspecialties (UCNS) is preferred but relevant experience in dedicated management of headache patients will be considered. Our Headache and Orofacial Pain Clinic was recently developed and includes specialists in neurology and dental medicine. The clinic is held in the Neurology outpatient clinic and is supported by the Neurology Department, which includes clinicians representing dementia, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular, epilepsy, movement disorders, sleep, and stroke.

Responsibilities of this position includes primarily outpatient evaluation and management of complex head and facial pain, engaging in clinical research, educating our residents and medical students, and participating in other educational activities such as lecturing and providing CME courses. The initiation of a headache fellowship is also a priority. Our vibrant Neurology Department is a highly collegial and dedicated group with Gallup CE11 results that show our professional faculty and residents lead the nation in employee satisfaction.

Neurologist with an interest in Headache - June 2011

Geisinger Health System seeks a Neurologist with an interest in Headache to establish a dedicated headache center at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.

About the position:

  • Develop an extension to a well established Headache Center, which includes outpatient headache infusion therapy, and access to pain anesthesia
  • Have the opportunity to participate in clinical research
  • Work closely with our nationally known Headache Specialist
