Harold G. Wolff Lecture Award

The American Headache Society® (AHS) announces the availability of the 2010 Harold G. Wolff Lecture Award. This award is for the best paper on headache, head or face pain, or the nature of pain itself. The recipient of this award will receive $10,000 plus complimentary meeting registration and expenses for travel, hotel accommodations and meals for the AHS 52nd Annual Scientific Meeting, being held June 24-27, 2010 in Los Angeles, CA . The recipient will be invited to present the paper at this meeting.

To be considered for this award, applicants must submit an abstract for consideration at the AHS 52nd Annual Scientific Meeting and follow the official submission instructions found on the AHS website. The paper may be concerned with basic research, clinical studies or both and must include new data in order to be considered for the award.

In addition, the paper should be submitted to the AHS Executive Offices and should be prepared in accordance with "Instructions for Authors" as published in the journal Headache. These instructions can also be found online. Please note that papers submitted for the Wolff Award should be sent only to the AHS Executive Offices, and not submitted to Headache via Manuscript Central. All entries become the property of Headache and may be published in the journal at the decision of the Editorial Board.

To be considered for this award, the following must occur no later than 5:00 PM Eastern on Monday, February 1, 2010:
*Abstract submitted online
*Paper received by AHS Executive Offices
